JP Leonard

Jason “JP” Leonard (@thejpleonard) performs around the U.S. including The Stand (NY), the New York Comedy Club (NY), Comedy Mothership (Austin), as well as comedy festivals in Austin, Atlanta, New Orleans, Knoxville, Houston, and Birmingham. He has done theaters with Mark Normand, Dave Attell, and Jim Breuer, and has opened and hosted for comedians including Tom Segura, Nate Bargatze, Doug Stanhope, Kyle Kinane, Shane Gillis, Ms. Pat, Bobcat Goldthwait, Greg Fitzsimmons, Emo Philips, Judah Friedlander, and more. He is the founder of Lafayette Comedy (lafayettecomedy.com) and has written comedy columns for The Laugh Button. He currently hosts the podcast, “We’re Dying Down Here” with comedian Tyler Arceneaux where they interview national comedians and discuss ‘dying on stage’ and what it is like to do comedy in a non-major market.
